We love the cooler temperatures of fall, not to mention receiving a little more moisture that those hot summer days, so it’s the perfect time to be planting all sorts of trees, shrubs, evergreens, roses and perennial flowers. Root systems continue to develop underground even after the air temperatures cool down. Remember to plant established container plants (can’t do bare root in the fall) and keep them watered right up until the ground freezes.
