Brandywine Red is one of the most popular and best-tasting heirloom tomatoes. These are very vigorous plants that bear large-lobed, beefsteak-shaped fruit and are perfect for slicing. The think-skinned, pinkish-red tomatoes are flavorful, but not acidic.

This medium-sized, very dark maroon beefsteak, with wonderfully rich flavor, originated in Crimea, a peninsula in the Black Sea. Extremely tasty!
